Students took a self portrait using Photo Booth, posterized the image, and then traced the shapes in order to create another reductive linoleum print.

Reductive Linoleum Printmaking
Seward High Art Students just completed a printmaking unit. They made reductive linoleum prints, using one piece of linoleum and cutting away and printing each color until only the last color portion remained. Pablo Picasso, who is said to have invented this technique, nicknamed it the "suicide method" because the block is destroyed as the print is created.
